I, Dr. P.K. Dharmapalan MD(Ay.), FIIM, PhD., retired Professor & HOD of Kayachikitsa, Vaidyarathnan Ayurveda College Thaikkattushary, Thrissur, Kerala and at present working as Clinical Chief Physician of Kayachikitsa especially concentrating in Cardiology, Neurology & Nephrology at Sree Agasthya Chikitsa Kendram, Ayurvedic & Allopathic Hospital, Kureekkad, Ernakulam, Kerala.

I would like to bring to your mind about some vital aspects of Ayurved, the nature’s treasure to be preserved by all human-beings.

AYURVED, is a unique symbol of prevention & eradication of diseases, with wonderful composition of all medicines both energy and matter level since Vedic Era and therefore, everlasting for vitality. As the entire Health Science is dependent on AYURVED, its necessity in every sector predominates importance.

I, based on my education, experience and research, try to narrate some sections of AYURVED to provide its magnificent applications. This sincere attempt will be fruitful only if you learn my valuable information’s attained by continuous hardships. Glad to mention that myself innovated the aspects of the anatomy and physiology of heart and diseases with its management.

One year clinical training under the eminent Gurunathan Padmasree Ashtavaidyan Brahmasree E.T. Neelakandan Mooss, Thaikkattussery, Thrissur, Kerala,from December 1982 to December 1983 in traditional way.

34 year both Teaching & Practical Experience in KAYACHIKITSA Department. Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College Hospital (VACH), Ollur, Thaikkattussery, Thrissur, Kerala.

Research Guide of MD(Ay), Kayachikitsa, VAC, Ollur, Thaikkattussery from 2012 to 2018.

More than 2 years experience from 10/05/2018 to 25/02/2021(Teaching & Clinical) at ALN RAO MEMORIAL AYURVEDA MEDICAL COLLEGE AND PG CENTRE, KOPPA, Karnataka.

Now working as Clinical Chief Physician of Kayachikitsa especially concentrating in Cardiology, Neurology & Nephrology at Sree Agasthya Chikitsa Kendram, Ayurvedic & Allopathic Hospital, Kureekkad, Ernakulam, Kerala.

Close contact with Gurunathan Vaidyabhooshanam K. Ragavan Thirumulpad. Actively involved in the weekly classes conducted at Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda college from 1995 to 2000 for the improvement of faculty.

Study of the Sanskrit language weekly once under the eminent personality Gurunathan Panditharatnam K.P. Narayanapisharody from 1994 to 2000.
